1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using WordBound, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. WordBound may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

WordBound offers a Free plan (no cost, limited to books marked as free) and a Premium plan, billed monthly (R49) or yearly (R490). Premium subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. If you cancel a yearly subscription, you will retain full access until the end of your current paid year; WordBound does not offer refunds for early cancellation.

4. Refund Policy

WordBound does not offer refunds for early cancellation of a paid subscription period. If a yearly plan is cancelled, access continues until the end of the paid year.

5. Cancellation Policy

Premium subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the reader's account settings. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not trigger a refund for the current paid period.

6. Delivery Policy

WordBound is a digital streaming service. There is no physical delivery. Access to purchased/subscribed content is granted immediately upon successful payment confirmation, accessible only through the WordBound platform while logged in. Content is not downloadable.

7. Content and Reading Access

All books on WordBound, whether free or premium, are for online reading only and may not be downloaded, copied, or redistributed under any circumstances. Access to premium content requires an active Premium subscription.

8. Author Content

Authors retain ownership of their original work. By publishing on WordBound, authors grant WordBound the right to host, stream, and display their work to readers in accordance with the access tier they select. Authors are solely responsible for ensuring they hold the rights to any content they upload. Authors also agree to WordBound's royalty and performance bonus structure as outlined at signup.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not upload plagiarized content, attempt to circumvent payment or access controls, scrape or redistribute book content, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

WordBound is provided "as is." While we take reasonable steps to maintain a secure and reliable platform, WordBound is not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, third-party payment processing issues, or user-submitted content.
